![]() ![]() I was wondering if anyone has done any research yet or has any resources to help make the decision on which platform to get the game on. Very well done.First and foremost, I am obviously SO excited about Hogwarts Legacy and cannot wait to play like I'm sure the rest of you also feel. Ignore that one comment saying there's only one classical loop in the entire game he obviously didn't get too far in the game.ĭid I mention the music ? The music makes the scenery come to life. I would've liked to see a bit more though. The open world is very well done and Imo the enemy variety is satisfying. The main story, is intriguing enough and the combat is addicting. However, the game has also got many positives! On series S the game has some blaring rendering issues. The cosmetics are not very impressive and the dialogue between the characters feels stiff at times. Once you look past the surface the game starts to show it's faults and it begins to feel repetitive. I know I did.! Haven't finished the game and don't really intend on finishing it but who knows, maybe someday. It's a very good game but you'll end up getting bored with it. Take out the nostalgia and there is so little there it's crazy. I feel like I'm in bizzaro world cus I think it's an obviously lazy cash grab but tons of reviewers who seem legit gave it 9/10. The "puzzles" are just walking up to something and hitting a spell button. Lots of filler and pretty much every quest is the exact same. The dialog feels like it was written in a hurry The voice acting is mediocre at best and often really terrible. Npcs are not remotely interesting or engaging, and the population is sparse in most places. Tons of lazy choices, like a classical music piece being played by floating instruments on a one minute loop throughout a large part of the castle. Very little actual interaction with the environment beyond clicking square and watching the same 20 objects get animated Generic ass combat with very little enemy variety. If you are playing on an older console, then you have to wait till April. TLDR: If you have a newer console or are planning to play on pc and you don't mind your character having a normal pitch voice, buy the current version. The voice pitch is an issue that will have to be fixed but other than that, the game is very solid and I expect you will find a very similar game from now to the older consoles edition being launched with the main difference being that the game will run on newer consoles better than on older consoles. An example of a minor bug I have encountered is my character permanently holding a healing potion, but that didn't really bother me as it made me look like a potioneer. ![]() Anything but normal pitch for character voice is kinda trash sounding, but normal sounds absolutely fine. The only real issues I have encountered are your characters voice pitch and some very minor bugs. ![]() There may be some small updates to the current version, but nothing that will dramatically change the game. If you intend to play this game on the pc, the ps5, or the Xbox series, then the current version is the best version. No, the game that is releasing in April is going to be the version for the older systems, the Xbox One, and the ps4. ![]()
